Jobseekers Alowance. Would you go on it?

Im in-between courses (i start a PGCE in August) and have decided to accept Jobseekers Allowance. There is allot of stigma today about people being on the dole and allot of my friends would flat out refuse to get it. I have always worked, even when i was doing my degree, and now is the only time i need a little support.

I think that people who are on the dole for more than 3 months should be forced to work for thier benefits. My sister for instance has never worked a day in her life (she is 40) and i begrudge (through my taxes) supporting her alcohol and cigarette life style. I bet if she were forced to work she would soon get off her lazy arse and find a productive occupation.

What do u guys think? Is it ok to go on the dole for a short period (which is what it is intended for,) or would u be too proud? Also should the perpetualy unemployed be forced to do the equivelant of community service for their money?

Youngsters ......

Why is everyone who is born after 1990 such a prick? I mean they have the easiest life yet when they were at school they (can get)paid to stay,they can sit there and moan that 21 is getting old thinking that after that bits will fall off or they will suddenly die,they can eat anything they want and not put on an once of weight (well for some thats true) and the whole world panders to their needs everything is youth orientated now-a-days HELLO there is life after 25! Plus that whole attitude gets up my nose too like they know everything and then theres the spelling all this cum,em,l8r,str8 and the worse yet over using lol come on get to grips and use the whole fecking word your on a pc NOT using your mobile.

I need a home in London, can someone please help me out!!! I am desperate!!!

Hi guyz, can anyone help me out with a place to live in London??? I need a home as soon as possible, its urgent as I have lost my home in west yorkshire as my hair and beauty business went bust and i am desperate for help, so if anyone has a spare room I can pay rent but not until I get to London and get work which I have lined up already, if you like the sound of me then please get intouch as I am avery decent and respectful person, the only thing is I have two beautiful cats and they need a home too, I will get my own place if you can just help me out for like a couple of months until I get myself back on my feet, I hate asking but I am so desperate as Ive lost everything.

Fake hair...gay?

tonight.I got soo stressed with my hair that with a moment of rage I cut hug pieces out of my hair.

Im mixed raced so I was blessed with anoying afro hair..

afro hair is not cool, it gets dry and it breaks easily...its generally shit.

but ive been chemically straightening it and using Ghds for years. My hair grows really really slow.

so now I have no hair...I was wondering wether or not I should get a full hed of glue in hair extentions

not like long just rather short.

Estelles hair is fake and glued in..or it may be weave but its deffinalely fake.

so would it be proper camp of me to do so? I would make it obvious, i would just have short hair with a bit of a fringe (like estelles)

would you be put off a guy if he had fake hair (that wasnt obvious)

i know its not particulary macho, but im mixed race so I kind of have a pretty good excuse to opt for natural hair to be glued in which isnt mine.

lol

Last Choir Standing

Ok, the BBC devotes too much energy to reality programmes, and I didn't like the ones for musical stars, but I just watched most of Last Choir Standing, mostly because I'm in a choir myself. And one of the groups had such a beautiful sound I got all choked up - sounds pathetic maybe but choral music can be SO amazing. I hope lots of people join a group thanks to this programme, because so many groups are ageing and need more young people. Did anyone else watch it? Anyone else in a choir?

LadsLads Vs Fitlads

Is it me or is LadsLads alot more user friendly than fitlads? When I say user friendly I mean the forums in general. I mean I know you get some insulting posts and offensive people (The occasional arsehole) but it's alot more opinionated on here rather than the same day in day out crap on fitlads? Anyone else agree?
